Frisco's "Water Wise" Program Earns High Marks for Water Conservation

In past years, Frisco has had a problem with high water consumption and the average use per resident per day back in 2000 was over 300 gallons. Frisco decided to do something about the amount of water used and set forth several water-saving initiatives that have proven to be very successful, allowing the city to earn the 2015 Texas Environmental Excellence Award and the Blue Legacy Award.
